Sorry there has been no news from the farm recently. Amongst the normal jobs we had to go and choose our new puppy from a friends litter. Elizabeth, Lizzie for short arrived on the 20th of August and has been a lovely handful ever since!!!!! We will keep

The sun was out yesterday, for a while, and so was the combine. The wheat was dry enough into the evening until the dew became too heavy. Today we're trying to finish off and bale the straw before it rains!

Whilst we wait for the combine and the sunshine to arrive, autumn calving has started with some calves happy to show they have arrived but one hiding away in the hedge, playing hide and seek!
